One of my favourite themes for a blog or vlog is ‘What’s in my bag?’. I love seeing the purses, clutches and handbags, and what they include. Following this trend, I wanted to share the necessities I carry every day to the gym. Let’s get stuck in!
My gym bag
I recently purchased this colourful Puma rucksack, and loved it straight away. I needed a big bag, but I hate holdalls as they always cut into my shoulder. This bag was perfect, and even has a section for my laptop – perfect!
These are my ‘old faithfuls’, so these are a bit battered! They are indoor trainers, so they’re perfect for spinning classes or a treadmill run. I couldn’t tell you the type of Adidas trainers, I’ve had them for a few years! Here’s a similar pair.
My gym kit
If you couldn’t tell, I like dark gym clothing! The items in the picture above are from Primark, Helly Hansen and Shock Absorber. I prefer lycra or slim fitting clothing at the gym, and these pieces are great as they don’t show sweat or smell if you’re working out hard.
I always carry my phone around the gym with me, if I need a certain track to inspire some motivation. This belt means I can keep everything in one place, and safe when I’m moving around the gym. There’s also a clip to attach a locker or car key too, which is a lifesaver! Find out more about FlipBelt here.
The latest copy of Women’s Health
If I get out of a class early, or I’ve got a few minutes to kill before I have to head to work, I like to flick through the latest edition of Women’s Health. Someone fitness magazines can almost ‘scaremonger’ you into fad diets or silly fitness trends, but I always find that WH is pretty straight forward with it’s advice, and is an easy read too.
So, what’s in your gym bag? Anything important I’ve missed? Let me know!
